About

Coding for the Good of Society (Co.G.S.) aims to further opportunities for budding coders and entrepreneurs to engage with technology innovation, business planning, pitching and development, in order to better our world.

Our curriculum aims to give high school students the skills and mindset to develop real technological solutions to real world problems, as well as the talent and tenacity to build a viable tech platform.

Members are trained in the skills required to create successful, sustainable apps. They will build an app plan based on modules such as app ideation, planning, development, identification of issues, investor presentations, and more.

The CoGS curriculum is designed to be delivered over a period of six months through fortnightly sessions. The membership base of the club is split into teams of 4-5 people, with each group developing an app plan over the course of these six months.

Ultimately, CoGS aims to build the next generation of changemakers, both in the tech world and in the community!
